1.- LAW 1306-BIS DATED MAY 21, 1937
Pursuant to Law 1306-BIS dated May 21, 1937, Official Gazette Number 5034, in the rule contained in Article 42, it is established that any divorce decree for a specific cause, within eight days after the divorce is pronounced , the device will be published in one of the local newspapers. This publication must contain the mentions related to the divorce pronouncement and a copy of the newspaper must be deposited in the Secretary of the Court within eight days following the publication.
2.- SANCTIONS FOR FAILURE TO PUBLISH THE DIVORCE DECREE
The foregoing must be done under penalty of one hundred (100) pesos fine against the spouse who has obtained the divorce, without prejudice to the civil liability incurred by his negligence.
It is necessary to say that if there is no newspaper in the locality in which the divorce is admitted, the publication of the device will be made in one of the closest province or common ones.
3.- PUBLICATION OF THE DIVORCE DECREE IN CASE OF DIVORCE BY MUTUAL CONSENT
In addition, when the divorce is admitted by mutual consent, the obligations imposed by this article will be the responsibility of both spouses, under the penalty already expressed.
